Gone are the Days
I never could understand it when my grandmother would ask me "to kindly thread her needle."
Why, I thought, did Nana have such difficulty with so simple a task--to my 8 year-old eyes, the proverbial camel could pass through the eye of the needle with ease.
Nana would be amused if she could see me now days going to a window, so I could see "to thread the pesky thing"--Nana's words.
This is a small piece, but I'm starting to realize, especially when the light fades, that I need to make my designs larger--my eyes will thank me someday.
Gone are the days when the camel could pass to and fro.
