Notte

I woke a bit early the other day and was greeted by Venus and the moon as I drew back the drapes.  Both heavenly bodies were holding their own before the dawn.  

I've been doing some pencil studies of Michelangelo's sculptures--Notte being one of them--and I thought of her as I took some time to gaze out the window at the celestial display.
